At the test site, the customer was satisfied with the final plastic pellets and continued to discuss with the staff on related technical issues.
The KSP series single screw extruder recycling granulation system is specially designed for recycling hard plastic flakes, such as PP, PE, ABS, PS, HIPS, PC and other hard flakes. it includes functions such as raw material feeding, plasticizing, granulating and drying Etc. The KSP recycling granulation system mainly consists of the following parts, which are introduced in detail below.
The crushed raw material with dimension below 14mm are fed into the screw feeder from the large hot air dying silo, and then fed into the single screw extruder, The feeding speed and storage silo capacity can be customized and adjusted.
2. Single screw extruder
The single screw extruder is used for plastic granulation, with good plasticizing effect, venting and degassing design and high output. The screw and barrel are made of our company's unique bi-metallic material, its service life is 1.5 times that of ordinary alloy materials.
3. Plastic Melt filtration system
3.1 First with Self-cleaning laser filter
The automatic self-cleaning laser filter can automatically filter impurity particles in plastic raw materials, the screen of the laser filter is made of hardened alloy steel, it has extremely high mechanical rigidity and wear resistance. Using advanced laser technology, thousands of fine holes are processed with a precision of 80-800 microns. This high-precision screen not only provides excellent filtration but also features self-cleaning functionality. The laser filter employs a continuous cleaning mechanism, with six scrapers rapidly moving across the screen surface to immediately remove contaminants from the screen holes and send them to the discharge screw for removal. This high-frequency cleaning method ensures that the screen holes quickly regain their filtration capability, maintaining a high throughput even in highly contaminated material. The scraper and discharge screw speeds are automatically adjusted according to the melt pressure, ensuring the entire filtration process operates at a constant pressure. This "constant pressure operation" mode can stably process highly contaminated material while maintaining efficient filtration performance. Additionally, this system only carries out a minimal amount of melt when discharging contaminants, with melt loss around 1%-3%. Compared to the traditional filters, the laser filter does not require manual screen replacement, it can save labor cost and improve the production efficiency.
3.2 Plate filter
The plate filter adopts a single-plate two position design, and is equipped with ceramic heaters on both sides to maintain the temperature after plasticization. Because it is equipped with a lifting ring, installation and maintenance are relatively simple. It is also equipped with a Gefran pressure sensor, which automatically prompts customers to change the meshes when the pressure is too high.
4. Water ring Pelletizer unit
Adopting a brand-new European-designed water ring pelletizer, the cutting speed is adjusted by the frequency converter, and the PLC automatically controls the speed according to the melt pressure to obtain particles of uniform size.
5. Vibration and spin drying system
The vibration dryer is combined with a horizontal centrifugal dryer to achieve a good drying effect for the final finished particles. The water tank is equipped with a heat exchanger for cooling. Water is recycled to save water.
