IV. How should the plastic crusher be used and maintained correctly?

  • First of all, the plastic crusher should be placed in a stable and ventilated room to prevent the machine from falling sideways during operation, effectively ensure the normal heat dissipation of the motor, and extend its service life.
  • Before starting, you should first ensure that the knife holder is flexible, there is no collision in the crushing chamber, and the direction of rotation is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow of the machine. After starting, it should be allowed to idle for 1-2 minutes, and then feed the material after there is no abnormality.
  • The feeding speed should be uniform during crushing, and it is not advisable to feed too much raw material at one time to prevent blocking the crushing chamber. When crushing plastics with good toughness and elasticity, the feeding amount should be strictly controlled, otherwise it is very easy to cause the blade to get stuck, the motor to be overloaded or even burnt out.
  • Keep the feeding speed of the crusher uniform to prevent overload or no-load. It is forbidden for hard objects such as metal to enter the machine to cause unnecessary damage. Do not work overloaded for a long time. If vibration, noise, high temperature of bearings or motors occur during the crushing process, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection to prevent unnecessary damage to the equipment.
  • Before starting the plastic crusher for the second time, clean the remaining fragments in the crushing chamber first, which can reduce the resistance of the motor starting and extend the service life of the equipment. At the same time, regularly clean the dust outlet under the flange to effectively prevent the discharged powder from entering the bearing of the machine.
  • In the case of long-term use of the equipment, pay attention to regularly add lubricating oil to the bearing to reduce bearing wear or damage. At the same time, regularly check whether the belt is loose. If it is loose, adjust it in time.
  • Check the sharpness of the tool regularly. If the blade is blunt, sharpen it or replace it with a new one in time to avoid machine jams. Check and adjust the gap between the moving blade and the fixed blade in the cutting chamber regularly, and check the blade fastening bolts to prevent the blade from loosening.
