Last week, the AGS1200 single-shaft shredder was successfully operated at the Kitech factory, achieving a production of 500-600 kg/hour in the shredding process of LDPE film. At the test site, the process was still running smoothly in the face of large volumes of LDPE film, and the output size was uniform. The shredded film can be directly sold as a recycled raw material or further processed.
I. Working principle:
Kitech Machinery AGS1200 shredder feeds the material into the machine through the feeding system. After tearing, squeezing and shearing, the material is broken into small pieces and discharged through the mesh holes. The equipment is particularly suitable for processing materials with strong entanglement, allowing a small amount of light and thin metal objects to be contained. 1.Feeding system
The feeding system consists of a feed port and a rubber conveyor belt. The size and shape of the feed port vary depending on the type and size of the plastic material being processed. 2.Blade system
The blade is located inside the shredding chamber and is driven by a large-diameter flat rotor made of solid steel. It is the core component of the plastic shredder. The blade material of the AGS series shredder is usually made of second-generation high-strength alloy steel. The material uniquely developed by Kitech Machinery has high hardness and wear resistance. The shapes of the knives are diverse, including straight knives, curved knives, toothed knives, etc. Knives of different shapes are suitable for different types of plastics.
3.Hydraulic system

8.Replaceable screen
Users can choose the type of screen installed under the rotor, Z-type or O-type (usually with a hole diameter of 10-50 mm), according to the processed materials to meet the use requirements of different recycling scenarios. Fragments that do not meet the size requirements will be sent back to the crushing chamber for reprocessing to ensure uniform output materials.
9.Transfer silo
The accumulated fragments are transported to the downstream equipment at a relatively constant and controllable rate through the discharging device at the bottom of the silo. It solves the contradiction between the discharging of the front-end shredder and the continuous and stable requirements of the subsequent equipment, and is the key node to ensure the smooth, efficient and continuous operation of the entire production line.
