This week, Kitech Machinery successfully ran a set of hot melter system to reduce the volume of styrofoam foam. This set of equipment is sold to the Bukovik region of Serbia.This set of equipment can reduce the volume of foam by more than 90%, so that foam can be transformed into hard plastic solids, reducing storage and transportation costs, and facilitating subsequent pelletizing work.

Plastic pellets are widely used as raw materials for manufacturing plastic products. The transportation of plastic pellets in the ocean is usually carried out by freight containers in tons. The leakage of plastic pellets will undoubtedly harm marine life and affect fishing, aquaculture, and tourism activities. The most recent major accident occurred on the coast of Galicia, Spain, where millions of plastic particles accidentally leaked from the ship and were later washed ashore.

This week, Kitech Machinery successfully tested a KSP series single screw pelletizing system for HDPE pipe fragments. This project single screw pelletizing system is sold to Switzerland with a plastic particle production capacity of 300-330 kilograms per hour. The materials recycled and processed by the customer include HDPE pipes, barrels, and so on.
