During the PET bottle cleaning and recycling process, the alkali concentration, temperature control and amount of detergent added inside the PET bottle flake hot cleaning machine need to be precisely managed to ensure the cleaning effect while avoiding damage to the PET bottle flakes.
Here are some recommended parameters:
I.Alkali concentration control:
Alkali concentration usually refers to the concentration of alkaline detergent (such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.) solution. Appropriate alkali concentration helps to remove organic pollutants on the surface of PET bottle flakes, such as grease, label glue, etc.
II.Recommended concentration range:
Generally, the recommended alkali concentration is between 1% and 3% (weight percentage). Too high alkali concentration may cause degradation of PET materials, while too low alkali concentration may result in unsatisfactory cleaning effect.
The specific concentration depends on the type of pollutant and cleaning requirements. When dealing with relatively dirty bottle flakes, the concentration can be appropriately increased, but it is still necessary to avoid damage to PET bottle flakes caused by excessive concentration.
III.Recommended water temperature range:
Temperature is an important factor affecting the cleaning effect. Hot water can effectively dissolve organic dirt, increase the activity of cleaning agents, and also promote the removal of dirt on the surface of PET bottle flakes.
Generally, it is appropriate to control the water temperature of the hot cleaning machine between 70°C and 85°C to ensure that while removing pollutants such as grease and glue, material damage is avoided. Too high a temperature (if it exceeds 90°C) may cause thermal degradation or physical property changes of PET materials, so it needs to be carefully controlled.
IV.Amount of cleaning agent added
The amount of cleaning agent added should be adjusted according to the concentration of alkali solution and the total amount of water to ensure effective cleaning while avoiding waste.
Recommended amount added: The amount of cleaning agent added is usually calculated based on the total amount of water. Generally speaking, the amount of cleaning agent added is 0.5% to 2%, depending on the type of cleaning agent used and the required cleaning effect.
If a concentrated cleaning agent is used, the amount added may be relatively small. Too much addition may cause residual cleaning agent, resulting in adverse effects in the subsequent recycling process.
Summary:
Alkali concentration: between 0.5% and 3%.
Water temperature: between 60°C and 80°C, the ideal temperature is 70°C to 85°C.
Amount of detergent added: 0.5% to 2% (adjust according to the concentration of the detergent used).
By properly controlling these parameters, PET bottle flakes can be effectively cleaned, the quality of PET bottle flakes in the recycling process can be guaranteed, and the recycling efficiency can be improved.
