The case in question is the KCP series compacting water strand pelletizing sold to Saudi Arabia. This set of recovery system includes two parts: shredder and pelletizing system. The raw materials processed are XPS foam bricks and EPS foam bricks. The recycling system of this case has been successfully running for 3 years, providing customers with pure XPS/EPS particles continuously.
This case includes one AGS 1500 shredder, one magnetic separator, one metal detector, two belt conveyors, one buffer bin, one pellet and single screw extruder, piston type filtration, and a water-cooled stretching system.
The recycled EPS foam bricks need to be processed by the shredder first, and the whole foam bricks will be shredded into 3X3cm foam pieces. Then, the foam fragments shall be treated by the magnet separator to remove the metal impurities that may exist in the fragments. The processed foam fragments can enter the compactor through the buffer bin and belt. The foam fragments in the compactor will be further cut and compacted, and then will enter the single screw extruder to be melted into liquid plastic. After being filtered by a piston type filtration, liquid plastic can enter the water-cooled strip cutting system and be made into individual EPS plastic particles.
This recycling system automatically controls the production speed throughout the entire process, requiring only manual material feeding and replacement of filter consumables. It is easy to operate, stable in the production of plastic particles, and suitable for a wide variety of raw materials.
