This project is the KCP series double stage compaction water ring pelletizing system sold to the Oryol region of Russia. In this project, the raw material recycled by the customer was LLDPE stretch film. The recycling granulation system in this case has been successfully operating for 4 years as part of the customer's plastic waste recycling plant, continuously producing LLDPE plastic particles for their production needs.
This double stage compaction water ring pelletizing system mainly includes a belt conveyor with a metal detector, a KC series compactor, KCP series extruders and KSE series second-order extruders, two stage piston type filtration, and a water ring pelletizing system, etc. (For heavily contaminated films, a plastic washing system or an ldpe film washing line would be added upstream, but in this case the LLDPE stretch film is relatively clean, requiring only manual screening and metal detection.) The recycled LLDPE stretch film may contain various impurities and metallic substances. Firstly, it needs to undergo manual screening to remove larger pollutants and impurities. After being detected by a metal detector, it can be sent into the compactor, crushed and compacted, and melted into liquid plastic.
The optional piston filter in this case is designed with dual stations, which can replace the filter screen without stopping the machine, and has a high degree of filtration precision. After two rounds of filtration, the liquid plastic will enter the water ring granulation system and be cooled and cut into individual LLDPE plastic particles.
The KCP series two-stage compaction water ring granulation system used in this case is suitable for customers who have high requirements for particle purity. It can handle various soft plastic films, foams, filaments, bags, woven bags, and fabrics, such as PE, LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, PP, BOPP, ABS, EPS, XPS, PS, etc.
