KiTech Machinery is pleased to highlight a successful case involving our advanced double-stage water ring pelletizing system, recently delivered to Wrightstown, Wisconsin, USA. This system has been operating efficiently for over a year, consistently producing high-purity LLDPE pellets for our client.
The pelletizing line is equipped with a range of specialized components, including a belt conveyor with a metal detector, a KCP series compactor, a laser screen changer, a KSE series double-stage single-screw extruder, a plate type screen changer, and a water ring pelletizing system.
A notable feature of this setup is the KCP series compactor, which includes an additional roll film feeder. This feeder allows LLDPE roll films to bypass the belt conveyor and be fed directly into the compactor, enhancing feeding efficiency. Inside the KCP compactor, the roll films are shredded and melted into liquid plastic, which is then filtered through the laser screen changer. The laser screen changer stands out with its high filtration efficiency and self-cleaning capability, enabling continuous operation with minimal maintenance, thus significantly reducing maintenance costs.
After initial filtration, the molten plastic is passed through the KSE double-stage single-screw extruder and plate screen changer for a secondary cleaning and filtration process, further enhancing the purity of the liquid plastic. Finally, the purified liquid plastic is cooled, pelletized, dried, and collected by the water ring pelletizing system, resulting in high-purity LLDPE pellets.
The KCP series double-stage water ring pelletizing system used in this case is specifically designed for customers with high purity requirements for their pellets. It is capable of processing a wide variety of soft plastic films, foams, filaments, bags, woven bags, and fabrics, including materials such as PE, LDPE, HDPE, LLDPE, PP, BOPP, ABS, EPS, XPS, and PS.
