KiTech Machinery Powers U.S. Client's HDPE Drum Recycling with Three Years of Stable Production Line Performance

KiTech Machinery proudly announces the continued success of its plastic recycling machinery provided to a client in Lincoln, Illinois, USA. The shredding and crushing recycling line, specifically designed for HDPE drum recycling, has been running smoothly and efficiently for the past three years, delivering robust support for the client's factory operations.

This advanced recycling line is composed of several key pieces of equipment, including a belt conveyor, a magnetic separator belt, an AGD series double-shaft shredder, two screw conveyors, and an AGF series crusher. Tailored to handle HDPE drum recycling, this line exemplifies KiTech Machinery's commitment to excellence in sustainable technology.

The process begins with HDPE drums being cleaned and cut down to one-quarter of their original size for easier handling on the belt conveyor. The drums are then fed into the AGD Double Shaft Shredder, which boasts 30 sets of blades and is powered by two 75kW motors. This setup efficiently shreds the drums into medium-sized rectangular fragments measuring 4x7 cm. Any potential metal impurities are removed by the magnetic separator belt, ensuring a clean material flow into the next stage. The fragments are then processed by the AGF crusher, which reduces them further into irregular pieces of approximately 1x2 cm.
