On May 15, 2026, the KITECH after-sales team visited Brazil to conduct a follow-up inspection on the PET jumbo bag recycling and pelletizing line commissioned in June 2024. The PET recycling plant has been running stably for two years.
Based on the excellent cooperation experience, the customer plans to purchase a second KITECH recycling and pelletizing production line in 2026–2027.

Customer Background: Growth Bottleneck of Traditional Processes

As Brazil's largest producer of PET FIBC bulk bags, the customer operates several advanced European-made production lines. However, high output generated large volumes of PET flat yarn and woven fabric scrap, creating urgent demand for professional PET plastic recycling machine solutions.
For a long time, the customer relied on an old recycling pelletizer to process waste, but its performance could no longer meet the growing recycling demand, resulting in serious on-site waste accumulation.In early 2024, the customer tried to seek technical support from local Brazilian manufacturers, but all tests failed and the delivery cycle was delayed indefinitely.The customer then turned to China for high-performance PET recycling equipment that ensures stable material performance and enables 100% reuse in reproduction.

Project Requirements: From Downcycling to Closed-Loop Regeneration

The customer's core recycling indicators were clear:
  1. High Reuse Rate: Recycled pellets must be 100% reusable in PET jumbo bag production.
  2. Stable Performance: Strictly control oxidative degradation and IV value loss during PET thermal regeneration.
  3. Easy Operation: Highly automated and easy-to-maintain equipment under cross-border cooperation.

Targeting the fluffy, low-bulk-density nature of PET woven fabric, KITECH provided a tailored PET recycling line for jumbo bags recycling:
1. Agglomeration & Compaction Feeding System
Adopting an integrated design of pre-shredding and compaction for PET woven fabric and flat yarn. Materials are pre-compressed with frictional heat in the compaction chamber, ensuring efficient and constant feeding to the extruder.

2. Optimized Screw Design for PET Material Properties
The screw design focuses on low shear, long venting, gentle melting, anti-degradation and strong conveying. Key optimizations include length-to-diameter ratio, segmented configuration, compression ratio, venting and mixing structure.

3. 3-Stage Roots Vacuum Venting System
PET is extremely sensitive to moisture and prone to hydrolysis at high temperatures, leading to viscosity reduction. KITECH is equipped with a powerful 3-stage Roots vacuum venting system to maximize the removal of moisture and low-molecular volatile matters from the melt, minimize degradation, and ensure that pellets meet the high-strength yarn drawing requirements.

4. Precision Filtration & Strand Pelletizing
Filtration System: A high-precision column filter is configured according to the customer’s budget and actual plant conditions. Although KITECH can provide a more advanced laser filtration solution, the selected system achieves filtration accuracy above 200 mesh through optimized design, completely removing fine impurities.
Pelletizing Method: Strand pelletizing, the most suitable for PET characteristics, ensures regular pellet shape and facilitates subsequent SSP (Solid State Polycondensation) viscosity upgrading.

5. Intelligent Remote Control System
To eliminate the customer’s concerns about cross-border after-sales service, KITECH introduced its professional after-sales team and equipped the production line with an intelligent control system with remote functions.
