1. Agglomeration & Compaction Feeding System
Adopting an integrated design of pre-shredding and compaction for PET woven fabric and flat yarn. Materials are pre-compressed with frictional heat in the compaction chamber, ensuring efficient and constant feeding to the extruder.
2. Optimized Screw Design for PET Material Properties
The screw design focuses on low shear, long venting, gentle melting, anti-degradation and strong conveying. Key optimizations include length-to-diameter ratio, segmented configuration, compression ratio, venting and mixing structure.
3. 3-Stage Roots Vacuum Venting System
PET is extremely sensitive to moisture and prone to hydrolysis at high temperatures, leading to viscosity reduction. KITECH is equipped with a powerful 3-stage Roots vacuum venting system to maximize the removal of moisture and low-molecular volatile matters from the melt, minimize degradation, and ensure that pellets meet the high-strength yarn drawing requirements.

4. Precision Filtration & Strand Pelletizing
Filtration System: A high-precision column filter is configured according to the customer’s budget and actual plant conditions. Although KITECH can provide a more advanced laser filtration solution, the selected system achieves filtration accuracy above 200 mesh through optimized design, completely removing fine impurities.
Pelletizing Method: Strand pelletizing, the most suitable for PET characteristics, ensures regular pellet shape and facilitates subsequent SSP (Solid State Polycondensation) viscosity upgrading.
