Recently, the KSP120 rigid plastic pelletizing and recycling solution, customized for an Australian client by the Kitech Machinery technical team, has been successfully installed and commissioned on-site and officially delivered for production. The successful operation of this project not only signifies that Kitech Machinery's technological innovation in the field of rigid plastic recycling has gained deep recognition in the international market, but also injects strong momentum into Australia's local circular economy.
I. Precise Service for High-Performance
The Australian client in this collaboration focuses on the recycling and reuse of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipes. Addressing the client's high requirements for capacity and finished product quality, the Kitech technical team provided a complete production line solution centered on the KSP120.
In actual production, the system demonstrated outstanding performance: a stable output of 350-400 kg per hour. The produced recycled pellets are uniform, full, pure in color, smooth, and free of any bubbles. Testing revealed that all indicators fully meet the application standards for high-end recycled plastics, directly establishing a closed-loop path from waste pipes to high-value industrial raw materials.
II. KSP Series: A Technological Benchmark for Rigid Plastic Recycling
The KSP series represents a major breakthrough in single-screw recycling pelletizing technology. It seamlessly integrates four core processes: feeding, plasticizing, pelletizing, and drying, specifically designed to address the challenges of post-industrial and post-consumer rigid plastics (such as PE/PP flakes, HDPE pipes, PS/ABS engineering plastics, etc.).
III. Core Technological Advantages
1. High-Efficiency Plasticizing and Durability: The extruder employs a high-power barrel and screw design, combined with wear-resistant alloy materials, extending its service life by 1.5 times compared to traditional equipment.
2. Patented Vacuum Degassing: The patented design effectively removes low-molecular-weight compounds, moisture, and printing inks. Its degassing efficiency is twice that of traditional single-stage systems, significantly improving particle purity.
3. High-Precision Continuous Filtration: Employing a single-plate, double-station plate screen changer, coupled with a ceramic heater and Gefran pressure sensor, it achieves automatic alarm and continuous filtration, ensuring uninterrupted production.
5. Precision Pelletizing System: The European-style pelletizing system uses a frequency converter to control speed and can be adjusted in real time according to melt pressure, ensuring uniform pellet size (tolerance ±0.3 mm) and preventing pellet agglomeration.
6. PLC Control Panel: Based on core components from Siemens, Schneider Electric, and ABB, the control system is equipped with a 3D visual interface, supporting one-button start/stop, recipe memory, and safety interlock functions. It is easy to operate and has a low learning curve.
